Attending the West African college of surgeons 62nd conference
The west african college of surgeons 62nd annual general meeting and scientific conference
On March 21 - 24, the foundation, with the generous support of friends and family, was able to sponsor a Community Health Officer (CHO), to attend and participate in the conference. He was the only CHO from Sierra Leone in attendance and he said the experience was life changing. He was able to learn a lot and network with surgeons from all over West Africa. Alpha is one of the few CHO's skilled in doing surgeries and this experience was very educational. He's now been asked to attend the 2023 conference and may be given an opportunity to present.
